The consulting and engineering company Sweco Polska has joined the tenants at The Park Kraków complex. The consulting and engineering firm will occupy the entire third floor of building B2. At the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year, the tenant will open its office in the development carried out by White Star Real Estate and Cain International.
The Park Kraków complex will ultimately comprise 8 office buildings. Currently, an intensive commercialization process is underway for building B2. The next tenant of this space is Sweco Polska, which operates in the Polish and international markets, providing advisory and design services in various engineering sectors: road and bridge engineering, surveying, cubic, architectural, energy, industrial, water, and environmental protection. Sweco Polska will occupy the entire third floor of building B2, covering an area exceeding 2,000 square meters.
The relationship with Sweco Polska is an example of a successful business partnership. As White Star Real Estate, we have been collaborating with Sweco’s Polish branch for 10 years in the scope of BREEAM certification for various investments—including The Park Kraków, where Sweco’s experts act as consultants and assessors for BREEAM. We are particularly pleased that the cooperation has expanded. The decision to lease office space in the Kraków complex confirms to us that it meets the expectations of the most demanding tenants who prioritize ecological solutions in design and construction,” says Bartosz Prytuła, Managing Partner at White Star Real Estate.
The Park Kraków is a brownfield investment aimed at restructuring industrial infrastructure areas by assigning them new functions. The buildings’ energy efficiency, BMS system, LED lighting, and water-saving systems—including the use of efficient fixtures, water leakage detection systems, and rainwater recovery for greenery irrigation—are just some elements enabling the building to qualify for an Excellent level in BREEAM certification.
The principles of sustainable development are ingrained in The Park Kraków’s concept. The entire office complex has been designed following biophilic design principles, aiming to reintroduce nature into human surroundings through abundant greenery, natural materials, movement, water sounds, enhancing well-being, and employees’ productivity,” says Agnieszka Wójcicka-Krupa, Sustainability Manager at White Star Real Estate.
The relocation of Sweco Polska’s Kraków office to The Park Kraków complex is a natural consequence of our Branch’s long-term development strategy. The new, spacious, comfortable office will allow us to maintain a high pace of organic growth and enable the expansion into new areas of our activity. We aimed to provide our employees with a high level of comfort in a space allowing for a balance between professional and personal life. I am convinced that the move of Sweco Polska’s Kraków Branch to The Park Kraków marks the opening of a new chapter in our business operations and serves as a strong incentive to strengthen our position in the market,” says Maciej Olejarczyk, Project Office Director in Kraków, Sweco Polska.
Knight Frank represented Sweco Polska, the consulting, design, and supervision company, in negotiations with White Star Real Estate, the owner, and manager of The Park Kraków.
Representing Sweco Polska, a company focused on advisory, design, and supervision, I was aware that the new office had to align with its profile. Key factors for selection were location, modern solutions, high standard finishes, and emphasis on sustainable development. The Park Kraków complex met all the tenant’s needs, starting from numerous amenities for employees to a rich offer engaging the local community. I am confident that in the new location, the Sweco Polska team will be able to even more effectively achieve its goals,” comments Aleksandra Markiewicz, Associate Director at Knight Frank.
As per the agreement, Sweco Polska’s office in building B2 at The Park Kraków complex will open in October 2023.
