Benefit Systems S.A. has become yet another tenant at The Park Krakow, the newest office project in Krakow developed by White Star Real Estate and Cain International. As part of the leased space, Benefit Systems S.A. will open a fitness club under the brand, My Fitness Place. The club is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Benefit Systems S.A. has been operating in the Polish market for over two decades and is one of the leaders in providing non-wage benefits. It also operates over 200 fitness clubs and is present in four different European markets.

“Acquiring a partner like Benefit Systems S.A., whose modern fitness club will occupy over 1200 square meters on the ground floor of the first building in The Park Krakow, aligns with our strategy of creating projects that not only encourage people to work well but also relax in their time after work. The growing awareness of the impact of sports on health and well-being means that more and more people are incorporating physical activity into their daily lives. Drawing from the concept of a 15-minute city, we want to make it easier for them prioritizing saving time, creating integrated communities, and improving their quality of life. We are confident that My Fitness Place will provide immense added value for the tenants of The Park Krakow, as well as complement the recreational offerings for the residents of Podgórze,” says Bartosz Prytuła, Managing Partner at White Star Real Estate.

The My Fitness Place network consists of over 15 facilities located in the Małopolskie, Śląskie, and Opolskie voivodeships. The fitness club at The Park Krakow will offer a variety of fitness classes, as well as spaces for machines, functional training, and cardio. There will also be a area for biological regeneration and relaxation equipt with a dry sauna and infrared sauna, the use of which has had a positive effect on both physical and mental well-being. Importantly, the club will accept MultiSport cards, which is an important feature for many people.

“The opening of one of our My Fitness Place clubs in The Park Krakow complex, designed with the well-being of people in mind, aligns with our mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle based on physical activity and work-life balance. The training programs we offer are based on the latest research and trends, confirming that physical activity has become an integral part of self-care, both in terms of physical appearance and health, as well as mental well-being. This is reflected in our offer, which perfectly addresses all the aforementioned needs. Among the activities we provide, there are also health-promoting classes that support amateur sports and minimize the effects of ubiquitous stress,” says Tomasz Groń, Managing Director of the fitness clubs belonging to Benefit Systems.

Sport and recreation are integral to the concept of The Park Krakow. Last year, the Shuvary Park summer space was created within the complex, featuring relaxation areas, sports fields, and infrastructure. Various events were regularly organized, including a free outdoor cinema, outdoor yoga, creative workshops, various festivals, and numerous attractions for children. The area reopened on May 13, 2023 and, as assured by the investor, this year’s offer is even more exciting. It will include a collaboration with My Fitness Place club, which offers numerous activities including yoga, Power Pilates, and Zumba.

As previously announced, The Park Krakow also features extensive infrastructure for cyclists (changing rooms, showers, and bicycle racks), supporting The Park’s employees to choose this environmentally friendly mode of transportation and utilizing the numerous cycling paths within the vicinity of the facility.

In addition to office space, The Park Krakow offers over 3 hectares of interior space with ample greenery, water elements, and natural materials, designed for both relaxation and outdoor work.

Construction of the first building within the complex began in mid-2020. In May 2022, it obtained an occupancy permit and is currently leased at over 80%. The ground floors will primarily be dedicated to service activities – in the first building, along with the gym, there will also be a lunch bar and a grocery store. The completion of the second building is also approaching. The ongoing interior finishing works are progressing according to schedule. The completion and occupancy of the second building are planned for the third quarter of 2023.
